I am delighted. And I am enjoying looking out through my new kitchen glass door and windows. At the moment watching the drops of rain go into the Urbis pool dish… this has been the Year of The Garden. What a change from the slimy decking and rough bit of turf when I came here. A big thank you.

Katherine provided a complete design, planting schedule and supplier sourcing service for the front and rear gardens/drive of our new house in Bath.
Her design was innovative and hit/enhanced our overall brief. Our house has amazing elevated views of Bath and the hills beyond and Katherine has designed a garden that exploits those views to the full-she has made a relatively small rear garden seem much bigger and full of interesting features.
She sought my wife’s broad views on planting and came up with a scheme that we can’t wait to see mature. She also sourced some amazing planters from Belgium.
Furthermore she managed her trusted third party suppliers making the whole process hassle free for my wife and I.
Katherine has been a delight to work with – she comes up with great ideas and sees them through to full implementation.

We bought some derelict land and built our own new house, but we had no idea how on earth we could create a garden on land covered with just scalpings!!
We engaged Katherine Roper and she gave us hope, and a beautiful vision of what we could achieve. She listened very thoroughly to our brief and gave us a plan for garden planting with a natural feel, which she designed to also support and encourage wildlife.

We are still thoroughly enjoying the garden.  The summer brought dragonflies and a newt to the pond.  Even a kingfisher stopped briefly for a look.  Latterly the top area has been popular with bats. (2011)
